Max has left me several deliciously funny messages over the years and I’ve always wanted to save them as mp3s so that I could listen to them whenever I wanted, say for instance, on my iPod while working out. I have now figured out how to do that. It’s a bit of a long process, but it works and the sound quality is actually pretty good. I set up a free Pinger account and added myself as a contact. Pinger gives me a number to call to send a message out, using a separate phone with speaker phone capabilities I play the message on the phone that is calling Pinger. Pinger than emails me a message which I can download as a wav. Using iTunes I then convert it to an MP3 and we’re set. Now Max’s genius can live on eternally.
