Concrete sidewalks, newly paved streets
White clouds where the land and sky meets
Green grass lawns, new cars in every drive
Husbands rush out giving kisses to their wives
Bookbags and lunch pails line all of the halls
Not be forgotten along with race cars and dolls
Cats and dogs spring awake to be fed
Mothers patiently rustle their young from bed
Children eating cereal of all different sorts
Living Rooms dirty from last night’s forts
Sprinklers sputter giving life to the yards
Exhaust in the cold can be seen from the cars
Newspapers lay on every doorstep and mat
Paw prints on windshields from a prowling cat
Yellow school buses drive down every street
Children grab their shoes to put on their feet
Still tired, some attempt to sleep more
Coffee cups in hand, moms usher out the door
Hugs and kisses are given to last the entire day
With a bright outlook each go their separate way

to the depths of the ocean
to find the meaning
to the greatest of lengths
to save a dying life
to points unknown
to help a lost child
to fields near and far
to search for the answer
to parts only spoke of
to seek the truth
to heights unimaginable
to nurture another soul
to regions beyond
to bring happiness to all
to the heavens above
to reach our hearts

Movie scenes unfold
In stories before untold
Images flashing past
Images that will not last
Fleeting moments of love
Angels floating above
Lives lost, wars won
New paths just begun
Emotions brought to life
Husband meets perfect wife
Where good defeats bad
Sons excitedly become Dad
Lessons are always learned
Ranks are always earned
Perfection is written in light
Sordid day turns to beautiful night
Happiness is all around
Stories never cease to astound
If I could I truly would
Live my life like a movie

It’s been a bit slow as far as action is concerned. I finished Staff Status I at Flag and I’ve started Staff Status II at the Belleair Mission.
The Auditors Day Event at Ruth Eckard Hall was awesome. Congrats to Claudia from Stevens Creek for winning the Class V Auditor of the Year. The Stevens Creek grand opening was prominently featured.
I finally made it to a Disco Nap (Tommy Simms, Evan Walker & Cody Borden) show. That was awesome. You can check out their stuff on
MySpace.
I’ve seen a bunch of people that I haven’t seen in awhile. I saw Dustin and Aimee’s kids this weekend for the first time, they are so damn cute. I played baseball with Juliet, Cody and Tommy this weekend. I think that’s it. I’ll make more exciting things happen this week.

This is what someone told me today after finding out that Sam’s dad worked in the Stock market. “You should tell him to invest in Paper. Paper or Ink or maybe a big printing company. Let me explain. With the gas prices getting so high and getting out of control everyone is going to have to reprint everything. Like, for example…. a restaurant. See all of their food has to come in trucks, all of their supplies. With gas prices going up, the delivery trucks charge the restaurants more. Which means that the restaurants will have to charge more for their food and instead of saying ‘Sorry buddy, the Hamburger is $12.95 now,’ they will have to reprint their menus. See, and that’s just one example, the restaurant industry. Imagine how many people will need to reprint things. I’ve been trying to tell everyone.”
Anyways, besides that, I went boating today.

I had an awesome time in Aspen. I hiked Ajax, Buttermilk and Snowmass. I didn’t get out to Highlands but I will when I get back. I biked Snowmass twice, went fly fishing 3 times and went skating so much I can’t remember. The food here is incredible. The weather was perfect. I’ll be back in Florida for a few weeks and then we’ll be driving back out to Aspen.
