While shopping at Safeway today I came across Coke Zero. I had never heard about it before this point. The packaging drew my attention and I proceded to purchase two of them (2 of $1.00 with a Safeway Club Card.) I must say that I enjoy it much more than Diet Coke & Diet Coke with Splenda. It doesn’t have as much bite as other diet sodas but at the same time is less sweet. It actually tastes more like Coca Cola Classic.
I had my brother do a blind taste test and he was able to differentiate between Diet Coke and Coke Zero. Also, he enjoyed Coke Zero more. I would recommend all who have not tried it to give it a taste.

I had the pleasure(?) of reading your hastily researched rant on movie theaters, and was left with a salty after taste. As you so eloquently pointed out, Hollywood DOES make some pretty awful trash but this is only because jack-ass consumers are increasingly entertained by explosions, sex, and star power. Depth and feeling have no place in the mainstream amerikan movie industry, especially in your summer blockbusters. Hollywood does not produce high quality pictures anymore because they don’t need to. All they need is a sponsor willing to risk a few million, then have some studio exec crank out a plagiarized script in 48 hours. So your solution to boycott is not nearly enough, though your righteous attempt to defend us movie-goers is commendable. The answer lies in consumer education. Know who your money is going to and who is going to benefit from your purchase. Find out who is making the big bucks and who is getting screwed. Don’t just look for the movies themselves, focus on the studios. Support those which produce high quality pictures or films you have enjoyed in the past. And since you seem to be the designated champion of consumer rights, what the hell is with coca cola zero? You can’t stand to support Hollywood but you can schlep for a major soft drink corporation? If the movie industry has you worried about your wallet, take a second to consider our national epidemic of obesity, not to mention diabetes and tooth decay. Seriously Bear, if you’re gonna do this boycott thing, you better go the whole way. Either way, you wrote a review on the latest coke product and I wrote a review on your review so I think we both have too much time on our hands. I’m only kidding, just giving you a hard time. late.
